We spend 60 minutes together, with the sound bath itself lasting approximately 45 minutes. The remaining time is used to gently arrive and softly close the session, ensuring that both you and your baby feel safe and supported throughout.

Danish Karaoke Championship – Qualifying Round at Roberta’s Stage

KWC Denmark – formerly known as DM in Karaoke – hosts the world’s largest singing competition, and now the qualifying rounds are landing at Roberta’s Stage.

This is where Aarhus’ biggest talents and strongest voices get the chance to show what they’ve got. All participants perform two songs in the qualifying rounds, and a judging panel selects who moves on. Those who advance will perform two more songs in the local final – also held at Roberta’s on Saturday 9/5 – and from there, the journey can lead all the way to the KWC Denmark National Final in Odense.

You can compete either as a solo performer or as a duet, so find your favorite song – maybe a singing partner – and step into the spotlight.

Expect an afternoon of powerful vocals, nerves, cheers, and high energy. Whether you’re taking the stage yourself or cheering from the crowd, the atmosphere will be filled with ambition, community, and a shared love of music.

Everyone can join – whether you’ve been dancing for years or never really dared to set foot on a dance floor before. Groove is for you who simply want to move, feel your body, boost your energy, and have a little party on an ordinary Monday. (Age: from 15).

What is Groove?
It’s a dance class where joy is the focus – not performance. There are no wrong steps here. We move together through simple steps that you can interpret in your own unique way. It’s playful, free, and wonderfully liberating – and you’ll be gently guided the whole time, so you’ll never feel left on your own.

We dance barefoot or in socks, wearing whatever clothes you feel comfortable moving in.

How does a class look?
We always start with a gentle warm-up. Then we build energy and flow through a mix of cardio, strength, and fun functional movement. Finally, we close with a soothing cooldown of stretching and relaxation.

The music ranges from pop and disco to hip hop, house, jazz, and latin – and the steps might be anything from a twist or cha cha cha to simply walking or running to the beat. The rest is completely up to you!

Groove is for anyone who wants to dance for the joy of it – and feel how good it is to let go and simply be present in the music.

Blues dance has roots in African-American culture and is known for its rhythm, improvisation, and sense of connection. It’s a dance where people meet, listen to the music, and move together – sometimes close, sometimes freely.

We invite you to a special evening in Stage with Balthazars Karaffel — a new trio on the Danish jazz scene with roots in Aarhus.

With guitar, Hammond B3 organ and drums, the trio draws inspiration from classic organ jazz, where the energy swings, the melodies carry a bluesy warmth, and the interplay feels close and alive. It’s jazz with both nerve and ease — moving between familiar tunes and the trio’s own original compositions.

Balthazars Karaffel balances tradition with curiosity. The music is created in the moment through improvisation, making every concert a unique experience.

Astrid Cordes — live on stage

We invite you to a atmospheric concert experience in Stage with Astrid Cordes — a distinctive voice on the Danish alternative indie scene, who has left her own mark over the past decade.

Many will recognize Astrid from the duo Shy Shy Shy, who toured extensively and delivered both the flute-driven hit and the soundtrack for the DR series Doggystyle. Since then, she has firmly established herself as a solo artist, becoming a true P6 darling.

Astrid Cordes’ music unfolds in a dreamy, analog universe of synths, effected guitars, and cycling drums — always anchored by English-language, everyday-poetic lyrics reflecting on life’s small and big moments. Elias Ehlers & Søren Ladefoged – Testing New Material

After a four-year break, Elias Ehlers stormed back onto the stand-up scene in 2025 with his show “Superman” – and just like he joked about in the show, it won’t be long before you can see him live again.

He’s currently working on brand-new material, and it’s time to test it at Roberta’s in Aarhus on Thursday, May 21.

Experience Elias Ehlers in a 30-minute set filled with outrageously funny storytelling about the absurdities of everyday life – all filtered through the twisted machinery of a wonderfully crooked mind.

Joining him is fellow comedian Søren Ladefoged, who also opened on the “Superman” tour and is bringing a backpack full of new jokes ready to be tested.

With a calm Thy-style attitude and sharp comedic timing, Søren zooms in on the ridiculous parts of his, your, and our lives – and makes everyone laugh at them.

From 11:00–13:00, Uni Krea will guide you into the ceramics workshop. With calm guidance and plenty of inspiration, they will help you bring your idea to life. Once your piece is finished, you’ll choose your favorite glaze, and Uni Krea will take care of the rest: firing, glazing, and finishing touches. Approximately four weeks later, you’ll be notified when your piece is ready for pickup at Roberta’s Society.

TUR DE SMUKFEST – Pre-Party at Roberta’s 🍻🕺

We’re warming up to Smukfest the right way, with a pre-party at Roberta’s, where the vibe kicks in long before the bøgetræer start calling. Come solo, come as a duo, or roll in with a whole crew - just come. We’ll make sure the energy is high from the start.

From 10:00–12:30 we’re running full Roberta’s mode: good music, cold drinks, community, and a DJ who actually wakes you up. Once breakfast is down, we all jump on the partybus at 12:30 and head straight to the Smukfest entrance. 🚌✨

Once your piece is finished, you’ll choose your favorite glaze, and Uni Krea will take care of the rest: firing, glazing, and the final finishing touches. Approximately four weeks later, you’ll be notified when your piece is ready for pickup at Roberta’s Society.

At the same time, you can enjoy 2 drinks of your choice – choose between:

- A glass of our Family Wine
- Draft beer
- Soft drinks
- Cocktails on tap
- G&T
…Additional drinks can of course be purchased at the bar.

Price: 349 DKK per person (includes ceramics, materials, firing, and 2 drinks)

Participants carry the risk for their own items. There is a chance that the ceramics may break during the process. If this happens, the participant will be contacted via SMS. Tickets are non-refundable.
If there are too few participants, we unfortunately cannot proceed with the event. We therefore reserve the right to cancel up to 3 days prior. In this case, the ticket price will be refunded.
