Everyone can join – whether you’ve been dancing for years or never really dared to set foot on a dance floor before. Groove is for you who simply want to move, feel your body, boost your energy, and have a little party on an ordinary Monday. (Age: from 15).

What is Groove?
It’s a dance class where joy is the focus – not performance. There are no wrong steps here. We move together through simple steps that you can interpret in your own unique way. It’s playful, free, and wonderfully liberating – and you’ll be gently guided the whole time, so you’ll never feel left on your own.

We dance barefoot or in socks, wearing whatever clothes you feel comfortable moving in.

How does a class look?
We always start with a gentle warm-up. Then we build energy and flow through a mix of cardio, strength, and fun functional movement. Finally, we close with a soothing cooldown of stretching and relaxation.

The music ranges from pop and disco to hip hop, house, jazz, and latin – and the steps might be anything from a twist or cha cha cha to simply walking or running to the beat. The rest is completely up to you!

Groove is for anyone who wants to dance for the joy of it – and feel how good it is to let go and simply be present in the music.

A sound bath with your baby is an invitation to just that: to be.
To breathe a little deeper. To come home into the body. To find calm — together.

The sounds of singing bowls, gentle rhythms and soft vibrations have a calming effect on the nervous system — both yours and your baby’s. Babies sense and respond to sound and vibration long before they understand words, and the waves of sound can help them release tension, settle, and emotionally regulate.

For you as a parent, the sound bath can be a pause.
A moment to land in the midst of everything new. There are no expectations and no performance — just a calm, supportive space where you can feel yourself, your breath, and your baby’s presence.

All sounds are welcome. Crying, babbling and baby noises are a natural part of the space, and there is room for it all.

The sound bath is gently guided by Astrid Gregersen from Lille Gaia, who holds the space with care and leads you and your baby through the experience with presence, calm and compassion.

We spend 60 minutes together, with the sound bath itself lasting approximately 45 minutes. The remaining time is used to gently arrive and softly close the session, ensuring that both you and your baby feel safe and supported throughout.

Come as you are, with your baby in your arms, and let the sound bath be a caring moment of rest, presence and connection — for both of you.

Join us in Stage for an evening of music, movement, and social dancing. The night begins with a short introduction to blues dance, so everyone can join – whether you’ve danced before or not. Afterwards, the floor opens for social dancing.

Blues dance has roots in African-American culture and is known for its rhythm, improvisation, and sense of connection. It’s a dance where people meet, listen to the music, and move together – sometimes close, sometimes freely.

Everyone is welcome – come alone, bring a friend, or meet new people on the dance floor.

David Miilmann Group — live on stage

Join us as David Miilmann Group celebrates the release of their third album “You Belong.”

There are primal forces at play when David Miilmann Group takes the stage, opening up their genre-blending universe. The band moves effortlessly between composed and improvised music, creating an intense and immersive experience — both among themselves and with the audience.

With David Miilmann’s expressive slide guitar at the center, listeners are drawn into a colourful soundscape that stands out on the Danish music scene — with clear inspiration from the American tradition rather than Nordic jazz.

David Miilmann Group released their second album “What’s Left” in March 2024 and their debut album “Waiting for Myself” in 2021 — both via April Records. The band has been recognised with three DMA Blues nominations, a finalist spot in the Danish Jazz Competition, and rotation on P8 Jazz.

We begin with Roberta's Breakfast Buffet from 10:00–11:00 – enjoy freshly baked bread, whipped butter, slices of sausage, ham and cheese, skyr, fresh fruit, soft-boiled eggs, ginger shots, and juice – the perfect way to fuel a creative morning.

From 11:00–13:00, Uni Krea will guide you into the ceramics workshop. With calm guidance and plenty of inspiration, they will help you bring your idea to life. Everything you need is included: clay, tools, and personal support throughout the process. Whether you create a cup, a small vase, or a bowl – it’s entirely up to you.

Once your piece is finished, you’ll choose your favorite glaze, and Uni Krea will take care of the rest: firing, glazing, and finishing touches. Approximately four weeks later, you’ll be notified when your piece is ready for pickup at Roberta’s Society.

StuDating Live Show | Aarhus | 13/06-26 | 18+

StuDating is finally coming to Aarhus – and it will be anything but boring.

Experience real blind dates live on stage, as brave singles meet for the very first time in front of an audience. It’s awkward, funny, honest and unpredictable – and you get a front-row seat.

Expect nervous laughter, great chemistry (maybe?) and moments that only happen when you dive into something without knowing what’s coming.

An evening of communal dining, bonfire vibes, and midsummer magic

Join us for a cozy and atmospheric Sankt Hans celebration at Roberta’s Society, where we gather around great food, live music, and true summer hygge under the open sky.

We’ll start the evening with communal dining from 18:00–19:30, serving a fresh summer menu:
- Castelfranco salad with potatoes, asparagus, peas, radishes, and balsamic glaze
- 2 x grilled chicken skewers (weather permitting – otherwise we’ll prepare a delicious alternative)

Roberta’s Society invites you to an evening of musical magic and laid-back vibesduring the Aarhus Jazz Festival, as Trubaduren takes over the lobby with their unique sound and captivating presence.

Get ready for a night where the sun-drenched rhythms of samba meet the quirky charm of dive-bar bossa nova – a dangerously delightful musical cocktail you won’t soon forget!

Trubaduren is known for their charismatic and entertaining live performances, taking the audience on a musical journey through unfulfilled romances, lazy afternoons, and a longing for faraway places – all seasoned with a splash of coffee punch and laid-back Jutland charm.

It’s a concert experience where South American rhythms meet Danish cobblestones, giving both your hips and your heart something to move to.

Usually a 6-piece band, Trubaduren will be performing this time as a duo featuring Tobias Stjernholm (vocals) and Rasmus Bak (Spanish guitar).

We’re warming up to Smukfest the right way, with a pre-party at Roberta’s, where the vibe kicks in long before the bøgetræer start calling. Come solo, come as a duo, or roll in with a whole crew - just come. We’ll make sure the energy is high from the start.

From 10:00–12:30 we’re running full Roberta’s mode: good music, cold drinks, community, and a DJ who actually wakes you up. Once breakfast is down, we all jump on the partybus at 12:30 and head straight to the Smukfest entrance. 🚌✨

Warm up that wrist — shuffleboard, beer pong, pool and table tennis are ready for you, so you can destroy your friends in a game or two before the bus takes off.

Stop by Stage and experience Giggle Me This, creating an improv comedy show where everything is made up on the spot – the jokes, the characters, and sometimes even the laws of physics. The audience suggests a word, the comedians grab it and turn it into something funny.

Knud Romer is taking over Roberta’s with his new one-man show DAMNED CULTURED – and we can’t wait.

If you remove “culture” from education, what’s left?
How did culture and Bildung become something dusty, elitist and locked away in museums — and how do we bring it back to life and onto the dancefloor again?

Knud Romer gives his take on it all with humour, sharp observations and plenty of stories along the way. As always, it will be loud, lively and impossible not to listen to.

As Knud himself says:
“If this is ever going to survive, I’ll do my best to rescue the last remains of it with a new and updated understanding of culture and Bildung — rather than the version that has almost completely ruined itself.”
