Everyone can join – whether you’ve been dancing for years or never really dared to set foot on a dance floor before. Groove is for you who simply want to move, feel your body, boost your energy, and have a little party on an ordinary Monday. (Age: from 15).

What is Groove?
It’s a dance class where joy is the focus – not performance. There are no wrong steps here. We move together through simple steps that you can interpret in your own unique way. It’s playful, free, and wonderfully liberating – and you’ll be gently guided the whole time, so you’ll never feel left on your own.

We dance barefoot or in socks, wearing whatever clothes you feel comfortable moving in.

How does a class look?
We always start with a gentle warm-up. Then we build energy and flow through a mix of cardio, strength, and fun functional movement. Finally, we close with a soothing cooldown of stretching and relaxation.

The music ranges from pop and disco to hip hop, house, jazz, and latin – and the steps might be anything from a twist or cha cha cha to simply walking or running to the beat. The rest is completely up to you!

Groove is for anyone who wants to dance for the joy of it – and feel how good it is to let go and simply be present in the music.

New Year’s Eve at Roberta’s Society is all about good vibes, amazing food, and taking the time to truly enjoy the night – no stress, no rush.

We kick things off at 5:30 PM, welcoming you with a glass of Prosecco and a selection of delicate welcome bites:
- Choux pastry with comté cream and fresh winter truffle
- Choux pastry with comté cream and prosciutto
- Cured and flame-seared salmon with gin and oyster mayo, pickled cucumber, and Szechuan spice

At 6:00 PM, we’ll livestream the King's New Year’s speech before sitting down for dinner.

A three-course menu awaits – combining rustic flavors with elegant details, just the way we like it:

Starter:
Salted cod with mussel sauce and herbs.
Served with house-baked Roman-style focaccia and whipped butter.

Main course:
Crispy porchetta filled with herbs and roasted on the rotisserie.
Served with duck-fat roasted potatoes, kale salad with pomegranate and hazelnuts, and a rich duck sauce.

Dessert:
“Baonuts” – deep-fried bao rolled in cinnamon and vanilla sugar, served with miso caramel dulce de leche, ice cream, crushed cookies, and dried raspberries.

From 8:00 PM, our DJ turns up the energy, the bar is open, and you’ll have free access all evening to pool, shuffleboard, corntoss, and ping pong.
As midnight approaches, we’ll head together to Mølleparken at 11:30 PM, then return to Roberta’s Society to keep the celebration going until 1:30 AM, when the bar closes.

Roberta’s Stage transforms into a small, leopard-clad comedy chamber for one night, when Aarhus comedians Simon Tang and Johnny Robertson take the stage and invite you to a show that’s tight, sharp, and full of the kind of warm surprises that can only happen in an intimate room with big presence.

This is our very first standup night, and they’re not coming alone. Joining them is a secret colleague / Special Guest you won’t want to miss. It’ll be one of those evenings where the room is close, the laughter is loud, and everything else fades for a moment.

Johnny Robertson – you may know him as the winner of the Danish Standup Championship 2022, or as one of “the 3 new hopes” at Zulu Comedy Galla 2019. You might have also seen his solo show Marathon Latter on YouTube, nominated at the UP Festival 2024.

Simon Tang – you may have watched his debut show Hele Molevitten, which won Debut Show of the Year at the UP Festival and has now passed 100,000 views on YouTube. Or his talent-prize nomination at Zulu Comedy Galla 2020.

Join us for an evening where the lights dim, the laughter fills the room, and Roberta’s Stage becomes what it does best: small, intimate, and full of energy.

Beer & Drawing – an evening for anyone who loves putting lines on paper and sharing them with others.
No experience required. Whether you’ve been drawing for years or are just now considering picking up your first pen, you are welcome. Simply bring your own sketchbook and preferred drawing tools.

The event is free, and it’s helpful if you sign up via the free link.

We meet at 19:30, but you also have the option to begin the evening with Roberta’s community dinner at 17:45. Price: 99 DKK. Book your ticket for the dinner under “Cantina.”

The evening is led by Bo Mathorne and Corentin Monnier, who invite you into a calm, open, and inspiring drawing practice – together, across tables, with a beverage of your choice in hand and plenty of time for conversation.
Note: Drinks are not included, but can be purchased at the bar throughout the evening.

Look forward to an evening of calm, good food, and creative hands in clay, as Uni Krea and Roberta’s invite you to a cozy ceramics workshop and communal dinner.

We’ll begin with a shared meal at 6:00 PM (arrive a little early if you like, to settle in). Once we’ve filled our bellies, we’ll awaken our inner artists and dive into the clay from 7:00–9:00 PM.

Uni Krea will gently guide you through the entire process – from idea to finished piece. You’ll have everything you need: clay, tools, an introduction to hand-building, and personal guidance along the way.
Whether you create a cup, a little vase, or a bowl – it’s completely up to you.

When you’re done, you’ll choose your favorite glaze, and we’ll take care of the rest: firing, glazing, and a loving finish. After about four weeks, you’ll receive a message when your ceramic piece is ready for pickup at Roberta’s Society.

TUR DE SMUKFEST – Pre-Party at Roberta’s 🍻🕺

We’re warming up to Smukfest the right way, with a pre-party at Roberta’s, where the vibe kicks in long before the bøgetræer start calling. Come solo, come as a duo, or roll in with a whole crew - just come. We’ll make sure the energy is high from the start.

From 10:00–12:30 we’re running full Roberta’s mode: good music, cold drinks, community, and a DJ who actually wakes you up. Once breakfast is down, we all jump on the partybus at 12:30 and head straight to the Smukfest entrance. 🚌✨

Warm up that wrist — shuffleboard, beer pong, pool and table tennis are ready for you, so you can destroy your friends in a game or two before the bus takes off.
